Official Information Site for American Institute of Business, also known as AIB College of Business, Des Moines, Iowa.

On June 30, 2016, AIB closed its doors after 95 years. The College Board of Trustees made the decision to close the college and gave a year and a half advance notice allowing 16 months of transition time for students and employees. Tuition remained the same and all student scholarships were honored. Most enrolled students stayed the final academic year 2015-2016 to complete their AAS or BS degrees, resulting in a record number of more than 400 graduates in the final class of 2016. More than 1,000 alumni and friends celebrated the 95-year legacy of AIB at the Fond Farewell Reunion.

The AIB campus facilities were donated to the State of Iowa Board of Regents and the college is now operated by the University of Iowa as the Iowa Center for Higher Education (ICHE). An AIB History Walk remains on the second floor of the Keith Fenton Administration Building that alumni and friends are welcome to visit.
